Simply Sustainable is delighted to announce the appointment of Carlota Esguevillas who joins the award-winning Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability (CRS) consultancy as Project Analyst, and whose focus will be environmental sustainability.
This latest appointment comes as part of the company’s wider, ongoing plans to support and further develop its growing portfolio of brands which partner with the specialist consultancy for its tailored sustainability consultancy services.
A 2017 graduate from Oxford University, with a 1st class honours degree in Geography, Carlota specialised in Human and Environmental Geography, with her dissertation focused on community stakeholder engagement in the Battersea Power Station Redevelopment. Prior to her degree, Carlota undertook a placement at The Coca-Cola Company Madrid, which not only gave her an insight into the company’s approach and attitude towards sustainability but also served to motivate her pursuit of a career in the sector. As Carlota explains, “I am proud to join a company with a reputation for delivering top quality sustainability consultancy services for leading national and international companies and brands. Having enjoyed studying sustainability on an academic level and following my time working with The Coca Cola Company, I am now eager to apply the knowledge that I have acquired to the wider business environment.”
Nicola Stopps, CEO, Simply Sustainable, says: “Simply Sustainable is committed to delivering actionable insights and strategies that support our clients in shaping the rapidly evolving CRS landscape, and Carlota will play a key role in ensuring their success. Our ability to attract such high-calibre professionals to our team of experts is testament to the potential of our long-term strategy and the exciting opportunities that are on the horizon.”
This latest engagement follows a series of other appointments made by Simply Sustainable in 2017, including that of Iona Neilson, Project Analyst in March, followed by Alasdair Marks, former BITC Corporate Adviser, to the new post of Director in July.
