April 19, 2018
As specialist sponsors of The Crowd’s X Comms event in London on Wednesday 25 April, Simply Sustainable will join around 120 senior communications’ specialists from over 100 international organisations to hear the very latest in innovative and radical thinking, methods, digital tools, platforms and technologies for corporate communications and sustainability reporting.
As part of the event, Simply Sustainable Director, Alasdair Marks, will host one of the round tables exploring how companies can measure the true Return on Investment (ROI) of Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability (CRS).
Alasdair will co-host the round tables with Ulrike Hamacher, Consumer Insight Director, Brightblue Consulting, a tech consultancy specialising in predictive modelling and Simply Sustainable’s partner on the development of Sustainability ROI services for business. Key questions for discussion by participants will include:-
- How are companies currently capturing and quantifying the direct and indirect benefits of CRS to the business?
- How can better measurement support the integration of CRS in the business?
- How can better tracking and data be used alongside techniques such as modelling to understand the contribution of CRS to Brand, Talent & Reputational ROI?
Commenting on the partnership and this month’s X Comms event, Alasdair explains, “We are thrilled to be partnering with The Crowd at this event. I’m really looking forward to chairing one of the round table events with our partners at Brightblue and we hope it will shed light on how companies can better measure and evaluate the true ROI of CRS initiatives. The line-up for this month’s event looks fantastic and I’m sure it will serve to inspire, ignite and catalyse new ideas, connections and behaviours that empower radical, positive change as we move towards a more sustainable future, a sentiment that underpins our work at Simply Sustainable.”
He adds, “The Crowd events are significant because they help accelerate the adoption of sustainable and disruptive business models. They do this by sharing new thinking and connecting like-minded individuals and organisations who have a common goal of driving positive change and tackling some of the most pressing social and environmental issues of our time.”
X Comms is part of the X-event series, designed to help international organisations explore new areas of the sustainability landscape including energy management, health and safety, communications and supply chains with the aim to build a better relationship between big companies and wider society.v
